He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Real Estate. He is also licensed or credentialed as a MD Licensed Home Inspector; MD accredited Lead Inspector; MD Pest Control Applicator/Inspector for Termites and Wood Destroying Insects; is a Certified Mold Inspector; a Radon Measurement Specialist with the National Radon Safety Board; in addition to having maintained certified membership in ASHI by satisfying continuing education for 10 years.

Andrew spent eight years inspecting along the Gold Coast of Connecticut and New York to include antique homes, unique properties, estate homes, including homes of well-known people in business and entertainment. This experience of inspecting varied property types of all ages has made Andrew Warde a uniquely qualified home inspector. No matter what type of property, you can be assured of a professional inspection.

Buying a home is probably the biggest investment you'll ever make, and it's a decision that will affect you for years to come. The process can be extremely stressful and confusing. And of course, there is always considerable risk involved when making such a large purchase decision. A professional inspection will significantly reduce your risk and help make the entire home buying process easier and less stressful. We enjoy helping our clients in this process. Customer service is our highest priority. We make ourselves available to you anytime for a quote, or consultation. 7 days a week! We strongly encourage all of our clients to be present during the inspection. You should feel free to ask the inspector any questions you may have during the inspection process.

Also, know that no one carries more comprehensive insurance than Prochek, to also include referring party (real estate agent) indemnification coverage. Maryland only requires a very nominal amount of general liability insurance. In addition to exceeding the amount of general liability insurance required by Maryland, Procheck also carries Professional Errors and Omissions Insurance. When asking about the cost of inspection services, there are many considerations that affect price.

Prochek is also committed to using the very best in building diagnostic equipment and tools. A 'long ladder inspection' is the norm, with every roof that can be safey walked accessed. Most other inspectors won't climb a ladder (and many don't even carry a 'long ladder')! A good question to ask any potential inspector is do they carry a 32' ladder to every inspection. If the answer is no, they can't access roofs of many rowhouses, 3 story townhomes, and many 2 story homes. Some inspectors have ladders to access only the lowest roof surfaces (if even that). How important is it for you that your inspector be able to see the roof and perhaps chimney(s) up close? Our equipment and technology is second to none.

Currently in the state of Maryland, all that is required to be a licensed home inspector is a high school diploma, one class, and minimal general liability insurance. You can be a licensed home inspector NEVER HAVING PERFORMED EVEN ONE. There are many inspectors attempting to 'learn on the job'. Ask your prospective inspector how long they've been inspecting. Few have been ASHI Certified for a decade, or more. All the experts (including published articles in This Old House, Good Housekeeping, Smart Money, etc., and television broadcasts such as on 20/20 and the Today Show) recommend ASHI as a source for competent inspectors, and for good reason. You can trust an inspector that has premier and verifiable credentials. Use an ASHI Certified Inspector (see www.ASHI.org for a listing of certified inspectors).  Many inspectors say they 'belong' to ASHI, but few are ASHI Certified.

The Prochek Inspection Report is a state of the art, computer generated report with digital photos that is easy to understand.  We deliver the report over the Internet that is available anywhere in the world within 24 hours. You are provided a unique password protected link for viewing. Everything identified during the inspection will be included in the report. No one writes a more thorough or more comprehensive report. Beware of inspectors that deliver computerized reports on site. Any inspector can do it, but it only benefits the inspector. Reports must be less specific, and are often filled with boilerplate, if not cryptic, comments. With the software available today, almost anyone can make a bad inspection "look good". Armed with the information we will provide, you can make your decision with confidence and peace of mind.

Choose the very best in inspection services.
