Mold Sampling

We perform limited mold sampling or mold screen inspections to determine mold issues and to identfy mold types present. Licensed in Virginia (Maryland and D.C. does not require licensing.) Sampling types include air sampling, tape lift sampling, swab sampling, and bulk sampling. Sampling is performed in accordance with the Environmental Solutions Association (ESA) protocols. Analysis is performed by an independent environmental microbiology laboratory accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Associaiton (AIHA).

Limited Mold Assessment & Sampling 

• Visual inspection of assessible areas that are client-defined.
• Collection of one or more samples in client-defined areas using air, swab or carpet sampling.
• Analysis of samples by an AIHA accredited laboratory. 
• Lab report detailing the presence and types of mold found in the samples.
• Summary identifying noted conditons conducive to mold in the sample location(s) a the time of collection.

• Visual inspection of readily accessible areas of the home and/or areas of client-defined area(s) of special concern (scope of the inspection to be mutually agreed upon).
• Collection of an appropriate number and type of samples in any "red flag" areas.
• Analysis of samples by an AIHA accredited laboratory. 
• Lab report detailing the presence and types of mold found in the samples.
• Summary report identifying noted conditons conducive to mold in the sample location(s) a the time of collection.
